First of all I introduced myself as it was my first class. I have started a poem Ice-Cream Man with its reading. I discussed some important information about the poet Rachel Field and discussed the first 8 lines of the poem. First 2 stanzas of the poem deals with the coming of an Ice-Cream man in the street in Summer season in the city. Difficult words with its meaning were discussed in today’s class. I asked some questions related to the poem and students answered all my questions. I had a great day today.
